Innovations are introduced quite fast in the Hard Rock casino. About a week ago, Hard Rock AC partnered with Evolution Gaming, and on August 16, their idea came to life. Namely, as of right now, all New Jersey gamblers will be able to play a plethora of live dealer games from the comfort of their homes.

Golden Nugget Alternative

As you probably already know, in August 2016, Golden Nugget became the pioneer of NJ Live Dealer gambling. All games are streamed from a studio located at Golden Nugget AC, except Live Casino Floor Roulette, which is streamed from the casino floor. Now, thanks to Evolution Gaming and active efforts from Hard Rock AC, this casino has opened an independent studio from which live games are streamed.

This isn’t an entirely new aspect for NJ online casinos since there are already five casinos offering Live Dealer games. However, only Golden Nugget has a dedicated Live Dealer gambling studio. The other casinos merely lease the Golden Nugget studios. Live Dealer gambling is currently available in Golden Nugget, Betfair Casino, and three NJ casinos operating under the Borgata license—Borgata, PartyCasino NJ, and playMGM.

Taking a Closer Look at the Live Dealer Games at Hard Rock AC

At the moment of writing this news article, gamblers at Hard Rock can play the following games:

  • Blackjack
  • Roulette
  • Ultimate Texas Hold ‘Em
  • Three Card Poker
  • Baccarat

Hours of operation will be limited for now, and NJ gamblers can play Live Dealer games every day from noon to midnight. However, these hours are likely to change in the near future. It’s also important to note that these games will be integrated with Hard Rock’s main rewards program, Wild Card Rewards.

Final Thoughts

As I tested the new feature at Hard Rock’s website, I noticed that the screen resolution and frame rate were astonishing. I experienced no lags whatsoever, and the dealers were quite friendly and helpful. The table minimums were bettor friendly since you can bet on any game for a dollar or less. However, Blackjack has a minimum of $10 per hand. Ultimately, it was a great experience, and I hope that they’ll extend the hours of operation later into the night.
